About GrindColorDesign and Joshua Connor

Biography

DesignerJoshua Connor and GrindColorDesign's freelance website design and graphic design services have been in development for 7 years. I started my path with studying the fine arts drawing, painting, photography and printmaking. Spending two great years at Utica's Munson Williams Proctor Institute, where I graduated with a fine arts degree and then moved back to Rochester to attend RIT for graphic design.

A short time later I began working in the field of graphic design for a local ISP. Two things were very clear to me then, Website Graphics where going to get better, and most website developers didn't incorporate search engine strategies into the development of the website. My quest was clear, to make clean crisp designs that where highly functional and had SEO incorporated into the design. Later I would incorporate content management systems for easy updating.

I have paintings hanging permanently at Bausch and Lomb Building in Rochester, which were some early work I had accomplished while in the fine arts school. This was a great accomplishment for me, and one I'm proud to share with you now. Art has always been something that I loved to do and it's important to know this is why I had chosen commercial art as my career. I still do fine arts, paintings and drawings and I hope to have my own show sometime soon in the Rochester area.

My future plans include the continued success of GrindColorDesign and improving design by incorporating fine art techniques.
